MeTag App and MeTag Analyze

Our review of the MeTag app and MeTagAnalyze web is based on an initial test project involving undergraduate students, and, later, its adoption as part a mixed-methods longitudinal research datafication childhood family life. We contextualise value media diaries tool in phenomenological user-centred traditions, namely Domestication Technology approach constructivist mediatization tradition. Based our preliminary findings these theoretical frameworks, we highlight main methodological advantages for researchers who aim nuanced understanding practices communication repertoires within different contexts across various timeframes.
